Hunting seasons for Pheasants, Quail, and Chukars

Controlled area: September 1 - March 31 Our controlled areas are specially licensed for extended hunting seasons and increased bag limits.

Kansas open season: 2008-2009 hunting season for Pheasant is November 13, 2010 - January 31 2011

Quail November 8, 2010 - January 19th 2011

We have 5,000 acres of native habitat.
All Kansas laws apply.

Rates
All prices per person

PKG. #1 - $150 per half day
8:30 - 11:30 or 1:30 - 4:30
Includes snacks and beverages

PKG. #2 - $225 per day
Full day hunt 8:30 - 4:30
Includes lunch, snacks and beverages

PKG. #3 - $325 per day and night
Includes pkg. #2 plus all meals and lodging

Licenses can be purchased at our office upon your arrival. Fee's are as follows

Hunters safety certificate required if born after 7/1/57  

 

Following are answers to frequently asked questions:

  • We never combine client groups in the field. If you book a hunt for two, you get a hunt for two.
  • Our maximum group size is six. If your group is larger than six, we divide into two groups and go to separate fields with separate guides. This maximizes fun and safety.
  • We provide dogs at no additional cost. You are always welcome to bring your own dog. Guest kennels are provided.
  • Full day hunts include a 5-stand sporting clay course.
  • We clean and package all birds at no extra cost.
  • Nearby attractions include Pawnee Indian Village and Lovewell Lake. Nearby cities include Superior Ne (7 miles north) and Belleville KS (20 Miles east).
